Hayley Newton
Hayley Newton's recent West End theatre credits include the dance musical Contact at The Queen's Theatre, London. Having seen the celebrated production of Contact in New York, Hayley realised a milestone ambition by becoming a company member of the London cast. At the tender age of 18, she was the youngest member of the company and considered it an enormous privilege to work with Broadway's pre-eminent Director/Choreographer, Susan Stroman. Hayley trained at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. Aged 16, she became the first British student to be accepted into America's Broadway Theatre Project in Florida. Working alongside some of the best young talent in America, Hayley excelled under the tuition of Tony Award winners: Ann Reinking, Patti LuPone, Ben Vereen, and the musical legend: Gwen Verdon. Hayley theatre work credits include Lorna in Grange Hill, Monica in Jo Brand's Christmas Special, The Michael Barrymore Show and made her West End debut as Melanie in The Goodbye Girl. While dance may be Hayley's first love, her acting ability came to the fore as the outrageous Tally in Granada's teen drama: 24Seven. | |
