Fred Johanson

Fred Johanson's recent West End theatre credits include playing the role of Frollo in the musical Notre Dame de Paris at The Dominion Theatre, London.

In 1998-99 Fred appeared as Pontius Pilate and alternate Judas in the European British tours of Jesus Christ Superstar, and as an Apostle and understudy Pilate in the original West End cast in 1997-98. He previously appeared in Cyrano de Bergerac and Fame - The Musical in Sweden. Fred is signed to BMG records, and has released two albums, recorded with Ace of Base, Lutricia McNeal and Meya, and written songs for Frida (of Abba fame). He has made numerous TV and radio appearances and will made his film debut in the Jesus Christ Superstar video.
