Hans Peter Janssens
Hans Peter Janssens made his West End debut playing the role of Jean Valjean in the stage musical version of Les Miserables in London. Hans-Peter was born in Bruges, Belgium. He trained at the Royal Conservatory Ghent (Belgium), Guildhall School of Music and Drama London (with as singing teacher Noelle Barker) and at Music Academy of the West Santa Barbara (USA). Opera credits include Sid in Albert Herring (Britten), Demetrius in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Britten), Don Giovanni in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Guglielmo in Cosi fan tutte (Mozart), Gralritter in Parsifal (Wagner). Musical theatre credits include Padre in The Man of la Mancha, Anatoly in Chess, the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera (Holland and Belgium), Vanzetti in Sacco&Vanzetti (world première- musical by Dirk Brossé & Frank Van Laecke), Jekyll&Hyde in Jekyll&Hyde (European première), Jean Valjean in Les Misérables (Belgium). Other theatre includes The Power of theatrical Madness, by Jan Fabre (Royal Albert Hall). Recordings include Les Misérables (Belgian cast), Sacco&Vanzetti. | |
