Jasna Ivir

Jasna Ivir's recent West End theatre credits include Gina Marino in the musical The Witches of Eastwick at The Prince of Wales Theatre London.

As a Croation born in Germany Jasna started her musical career at the age of six playing the organ and made her singing debut at 17.

Her work in Europe includes the world premiere of Strannik - The Rasputin Story at Weikersheim Castle and the dual roles of Jennyanydots, the Gumbie Cat and Griddlebone in the Swiss premiere of Cats in Zurich. In Vienna she created the roles of Frl. Windisch and Mizzi Loschek in the world premiere of the most successful German speaking musical, Elisabeth, at the Theatre an der Wien. Also in Vienna she performed her one-woman show A Piece of Sky at the Graumanntheatre in aid of charity for her native Croatia. For the European premiere of Disney's Beauty and the Beast she played the Sugar Bowl and Madame de la Grande Bouche at the Raimund Theatre. At the Summer Operetta Fetival in Baden she played the lead roles in Csardasfurstin, Maske in Blau and Madame Pompadour. Jasna was the German voice of Miriam in the Dreamworks animated feature film Prince of Egypt and Kiara for Disney's Lion King II. Her solo album, Musical Diva Delights, went straight to No.1 in the German Easy Listening Charts.

Jasna made her West End debut as the youngest ever Carlotta in The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majety's Theatre. Other work includes Hallisnia for the Royal National Theatre and Girls Were Made to Love and Kiss at the Old Fire Station, Oxford. She was thrilled to be part of Hey, Mr Producer! at the Lyceum appearing as Hortense from The Boy Friend.
