Colin Hanks

Colin Hanks made his West End theatre debut in This Is Our Youth at The Garrick Theatre in London.

Colin Hanks was born in and grew up in Sacramento, California. He began studying acting at Chapman University in Orange, CA then he attended Loyola Marymount University in Westchester CA playing on stage in productions of One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest and Noises Off.

On leaving college Colin landed a role in WB's hit high school television series Roswell High and remained with the programme from 1999-2001. A modern version of the Cyrano de Bergerac story Whatever it Takes saw him establishing his movie career as Cosmo, performing with James Franco and Shane West. His next role was in the successful teen movie Get Over it playing opposite Kirsten Dunst and Ben Foster. 2001 brought him to the UK to play Second-Lieutenant Henry Jones in the HBO mini-series Band of Brothers.

He performed the lead in the hit comedy Orange County alongside Jack Black (for which he was nominated Breakthrough Performance, MTV Awards). He was also seen in the ensemble thriller 11:14.
