Robert Finlayson
Robert Finlayson recent West End theatre credits include playing Raoul, Vicomte de Changy, in the stage musical version of The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre London. Robert trained at the University of Cape Town and worked extensively in South Africa, playing lead roles in theatre and television, before moving to London. Among his South African credits are the role of Tony in West Side Story (SA national tour), the one man play, The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me (The Market Theatre - for which he won a Vita Award), Lord Ram in the television adventure series The Legend of the Hidden City - which was screened on Channel Five. His credits in the UK include the roles of Nick in Fame (Cambridge Theatre), Chris, which he covered and played in Miss Saigon (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane) and Raoul in the UK national tour of The Phantom of the Opera. He has also performed at The English Theatre in Frankfurt, Germany, playing Brad in The Rocky Horror Show and Jean-Michel in La Cage Aux Folles. He also appeared in Is There Life After High School? at the Bridewell Theatre. | |
