Deborah Dutcher
Deborah Dutcher's recent West End theatre credits include playing the role of Christine Daaé in the stage musical version of The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre in London. Deborah was born in New York. She trained at the Hartt School of Music in Hartford, Connecticut, where she attained a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre and Voice. Her professional career began at the Elmira Theatre, New York where she played Suzie in the production of Mark Twain. Deborah left America to tour Europe as Mary-Anne (Michaela) in Rocky Carmen and from here she went on to tour in Elvis, The Musical in the role of Priscilla Presley. Now established in Europe, Deborah played the role of Christine in the German production of The Phantom of the Opera at the Neue Flora Theatre, Hamburg. She went on to create the role of Cosette in the original German cast of Les Misérables at Das Musical Theater, Duisberg. Follwing her success in Germany she was asked to re-create the role of Cosette in the original Flemish production of Les Misérables in Antwerpen, Belgium. Deborah has recorded both orginal cast albums in Flemish and German. | |
