Carol Decker
Carol Decker's made her West End stage debut playing the role of Jill in Mum's The Word at The Albery Theatre London. Carol is best known as the lead singer, front person and composer for the internationally acclaimed rock band T'Pau. They have sold over 5 million albums and had No. 1 Hit records throughout the world. In addition to this they have had co-billing and toured with major artists including, Bryan Adams, Thompson Twins and Nik Kershaw. Other appearances and collaborations include; Tina Turner, Phil Collins, Joe Cocker and Mark Knopfler. T'Pau have been both Brit Award and Ivor Novello nominated. During her 15 years in the music business Carol has performed to thousands of people across the world and appeared in dozens of television shows. She is a highly competent live performer and very capable TV raconteur. Carol's acting credits on screen include a guest appearance on Doctors, BBC and the independent film 9 Dead Gay Guys directed by Lab Ky Mo in association with Little Wing Films. Carol played Stephen Berkoff's wife. She also played the role of Sinead Weare in the first ever interactive film Running Time for IMP Corporation/Interacta Ltd. This project was conceived by Simon Beaufort of Full Monty fame and was nominated for the interactive BAFTA award under cutting edge technology. Carol has appeared with T'Pau again in all the major UK arenas as part of the 'Here and Now' tour. | |
