Dave Clarke

Dave Clarke played the role of Screamin' Jay Hawkins in the West End production of 125th Street at The Shaftesbury Theatre.

Dave was born in New York and trained at the Freedom Theatre Group, HB Studios and the California Institiute of the Arts. In 1967 he saw Sam & Dave perform at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem! He currently runs his own band, The Blues Of Cain.

Performances with: Chaka Khan, Bonny Raitt, Charles & Eddie, Gail Ann Dorsey, Michael Bolton, Stan Webb, Fred James and Taka Boom.

Acting Roles (U.S.): Marat Sade, Macbeth, The Clouds, Peer Gynt, Loves Labours Lost, The Decameron and The Eumenides.

Acting Roles (U.K.): Amen Corner, Fame (Swan Theatre) and Five Guys Named Moe (Lyric Theatre).
