Matthew Cammelle's recent West End theatre credits include playing the role of Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny, in the stage musical version of The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre in London.

Matthew Cammelle has just finished playing the lead role of Arnaud in Cameron Mackintosh's latest tour Martin Guerre. He joined this project directly from the first National Tour of The Phantom of the Opera in which he played Raoul. Immediately prior to this he played the role of Enjolras in Les Miserables at the Palace Theatre, London, a show with which he has strong connections having previously played Marius. At the Haymarket Theatre, Basingstoke, Matthew appeared as Alex Dillingham in Aspects of Love and George Deever in All My Sons, which transferred to the Liverpool Playhouse.

Other theatre credits include national tours of The Rocky Horror Show and Something Wonderful, a tribute to Rodgers and Hammerstein in which he appeared as a solo artist. Concert work includes West End - The Concert for West End International in Bergen, Norway and Odense in Denmark. Feuilly in the Les Misérables Tenth Anniversary Concert at the Royal Albert Hall and solo artist in West end Showstoppers at Pentworth Park, Surrey and Marius in Les Misérables in Hylands Park, Chelmsford. Television credits include Dressing For Breakfast for Channel 4 and several commercials including IBM and Vauxhall.
