Chris Bailey
Chris Bailey made his West End debut in tghe dance musical Contact at the Queen's Theatre. Chris began his training in Leicester and then went on to do a three-year course at the Performers Dance College in Essex. His first professional engagement was in pantomime in Aberdeen, but since then he has worked mainly in television, appearing in a variety of shows which include 6 series of Stars in Their Eyes, The Shane Ritchie Experience, Russ Abott, The Brian Conley Show, Surprise Surprise, The Generation Game and Lesley Garrett. Chris has been lucky enough to appear in several Royal Variety shows in front of Her Majesty The Queen, performing alongside such names as Dame Shirley Bassey, Tony Bennett, Take That, Brian Conley and Diana Ross. He was the Assistant Choreographer for the show in 2000. Another major area of Chris's work is doing trade and fashion shows. Previously he has performed at the Paris, Amsterdam, London and Geneva Motor shows and at the Clothes Show at the NEC in Birmingham, as well as several car launches in Cannes, Monaco, Zurich and Berlin. Chris is also an accomplished tap dancer and performed the part of the apprentice in the Olivier Award winning theatre production of Tap Dogs touring the UK, Europe and South East Asia plus several corporate events in Dubai and the UK. Tap Dogs UK was asked recently by the BBC to perform a short piece for their new BBC1 Idents and Chris was the artistic director for the 30 second piece was seen daily on BBC1. | |
